I get the feeling MLS signed him to that deal so if he wants to transfer, the MLS can charge a lot for him.

Re: The Transfer Thread
LA is probably banking on a new CBA making it easier to replace Donovan, too, should that day come. With the Beckham situation more or less calmed down, and with Bruce firmly in charge of an organization that's credible once again, I think LA is in a pretty good place right now and could cope reasonably well with a departure. The allocation money will help, obviously.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
No doubt.
I would just like to see him challenge himself. Because I think in the right situation he could excel overseas. I want Landon to succeed and to get the recognition he deserves. Thats not going to happen unless he leaves the MLS."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will spend up to £55m in the January transfer window to boost his side's title challenge, with £40m-rated Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero and Monaco midfielder Jerko Leko top of his wish list and Ajax forward Luis Suarez, Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi and Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell seen as back-up options.

Re: The Transfer Thread
David Villa has expressed that he would be interested in joining a Premier League club.
I think the front runners are Arsenal & Manchester United. Though Arsene probably wouldn't want to shelled out the money, and United might not have the funds.
Which could mean City or Chelsea could come in and swoop the star away from them.Comment
