Re: The Transfer Thread
The reason thats the case, is that unlike the other pro sports in this Country, most soccer fans got into the game by watching the EPL, La Liga, ect.
I'm all for the MLS growing and think that bringing in guys like Henry is a good thing. I just have not got to the point of being able to watch it on a consistent basis.
I got into the sport watching the EPL and the other European leagues. I think thats why myself and some other posters don't neccesarily enjoy the league. Its just not up to the quality were used to.
That doesn't mean were against American Soccer."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
That's what debt does. I used to follow Valencia, but they've rubbed me the wrong way these past few years. No Zigic, no Villa, no Silva, no point in watching. Mata can only carry this team so far now...YNWA

Re: The Transfer Thread
I don't know. I would expect him to stay in Spain for the time being, as Liverpool won't be an outlet for Spanish talent anymore. Beyond David Silva's alleged move to Citeh, what other big-name Spanish players have moved to a non-Spanish based team not named Liverpool? I'm struggling to think of one beyond Silva and Cesc in the past several years (Guiza to Fenerbahce strikes me as the only one). Compounded on to that, what other big name, Spanish teams need a winger/support forward? Certainly not Barca and Madrid. Possibly Atletico with Simao aging, but beyond them I can't really think of anyone. He may just stay in Valencia...
Please correct me if I'm missing anyone here...YNWA
