The names have been Neuer, Adler, and De Gea. Bayern seems to have lost faith in Kraft, so it seems likely that they will make a move for Neuer. As for De Gea, he and the chairman have denied the reports and have stated that nothing will be decided until the summer. Nobody seems to really be talking about Adler, except for mentioning that he is a United fan.

I really don't want United to go thru a GK roulette again just like they did when Schmeichel left.Comment

Neuer to United? Not likely as I think he's said he doesn't want to leave Germany.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
The De Gea rumour has been around for a long time. A lot of the reports will just be recylcled reports from the last year or so. I wouldn't be surprised to see SAF try and get a keeper already in the Premier League. He done that by getting van Der Sar from Fulham and it paid off for him, but whether there is a GK with that quality not already playing for a top quality side is another question. I'm sure SAF has plans for Lindegaard too, he chased him for so long so surely he will get a proper opportunity to stake his claim. Akinfeev has been a name floating around for the last couple of seasons too, probably just recycled stories again.NFL - Giants]

Absolutely terrible move for him. ZM Punk put it best in the Bundesliga thread when he said he'll be back in Germany in two years.Comment

I am excited about all this Ashley Young to Liverpool talk. He would be a great addition and is the type of player we desperately need.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
That is really, really absurd when considering how much a commodity a keeper is. Especially a world class keeper.
I recall seeing stories saying Bayern warned they would not pay too much or a ridiculous number, but I wonder what that number was. I recall seeing £18-20 million before thrown out.Comment

There's always an "invisible hand" pressure that the German Federation has that tries to keep the German international players in the Bundesliga. It's like Bizarro Premier League.Comment
