Aston Villa have put in a 10 million pound offer for Charles N'Zogbia, are getting close to getting Shay Given in whenever Man Citeh lets him go, and are perhaps getting SWP as a back up for Albrighton.

It's also been reported that he has said he's happy and doesn't want to go anywhere. I just don't see it happening now. Plus, when Fergie is asked about transfer business, he usually talks straight. If they've been talking to Inter, he would've said so. At least I assume so.

Better for Man U to get a younger midfield playmaker than one who is in his prime and soon to go downhill.
i.e. get Nasri/Pastore/Modric/Ganso etc
Players go downhill after they hit 28 or so.

Modric is only two years younger than Sneijder and Sneijder isn't going downhill anytime soon. He's going to be in his 30's and still making perfect passes.
