Re: The Transfer Thread
Looks like Nuri Sahin's going home!!!! From what I've been reading, it's a loan deal with option to be permanent although that's not been confirmed.
My thoughts - Nuri should have stayed at Dortmund. I know he got hurt at Real, but he made that move too soon. I think this is a solid signing for Dortmund and hopefully, Klopp can get him playing back at a solid levelComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Sneijder close to Galatasaray move.
Major waste of talent if this goes through. Last year pretty much everyone worth mentioning was after this guy when it was rumoured he might be on the move and now he's going to Galatasaray? No disrespect to the club, but Sneijder's the type of player who - in the right kind of team - can help you win not only your own league but the UCL as well. Sure, he wants money but it's not like he isn't worth it. He's at his prime at 28 as well, so it would be a shame to see him waste that in Turkey, where - once again I'm not trying to disrespect - you just can't win the major trophies.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Liverpool have come out and flatly denied any interest whatsoever, for whatever that is worth. As for wages, Liverpool just offloaded about £200,000 per week in Cole and Sahin, so that wouldn't be an issue, if he performs.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Boggles my mind that QPR are going to snare M'Villa for a reported £7 million. That is chicken feed in today's market. They must be offering ridiculous wages just like they have for Remy.
EDIT: Loic Remy signs with QPR.Last edited by ~LiverpoolRed~; 01-16-2013, 10:02 AM.Comment
