Re: The Transfer Thread
I think the real options and better fits for him in England would be Man United or Arsenal. Both of which will only be made available when the respective managers decide they no longer want the job. He would of course choose United, though.
Unless that job belongs to The Special One.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I just think it's weird that people were surprised he went to Bayern as if Bayern was some small-time outfit not worthy of Pep's time.Comment

That plus there are a few clubs that might be looking for new managers soonComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I'm not looking forward to the bandwagoners that will pop up everywhere if Pep gives Bayern true European success, though.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Fair enough, but I don't believe anything that comes out of any high-profile coach or manager's mouth when it comes to their job prospects.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
It would really just depend on how he does at Bayern. If he's successful and takes the club to new heights, I really cannot see him leaving. He would have no reason to, unless he wanted something slightly different and slightly more challenging. Pep is supposed to be a long-term solution, and three years isn't really long-term. If he actually meant that comment, it's not going to be in the near future. This stuff about him simply signing to Bayern for the short term while other positions open up just sounds like nonsense.Comment
