I'm not getting my hopes up. Plus, I think the money we're offering is ridiculous.

BBC is reporting that Barcelona have told United he's not for sale.

So, word is that Real Madrid are offering Spurs €100 million for Bale, but Daniel Levy refuses to consider the offer.

              It has begun.

Just read the article on the Guardian. 86.3 million pounds is a helluva lot of money. This would break CR7's record.

                  Re: The Transfer Thread

So if this happens, we can basically expect superstars to sell for 200m in a few years, stars for 90m, good players for 60m, and crap for 30m.

Football transfer economics is so out of touch with reality.

At what point would a team just say, "You want to give us 100 Million........hahahahahaha...............oh, wait your serious.............were do we sign!"

It's hard to believe anything Marca has been coming out with.

                        Re: The Transfer Thread

Marca was the original source for pretty much every single Bale rumor currently in circulation

So basically it's probably all 100% fabrication

I believe Paunlinho himself actually said he joined Spurs only after he was assured Bale was staying, and I'd imagine Soldado wouldn't leave Valencia for Spurs if Bale was leaving

Like I said before, unless there is a quote directly from the player's mouth or the official team website, it's best to just assume BS

Lol, Di Vaio plays for the Montreal Impact, yet is recruiting Totti to join him at Toronto FC?

Totti, 36, was contacted by Marco Di Vaio, of Toronto FC, and the former Italy international asked him to join the club, who play Roma in a friendly on August 7.
Lol, I wish. Gotta love ESPN.

I am now hearing United is preparing to bid 40 mil for Fabregas now ....
And what about Modric, I'm pretty sure we could get him for 30-35 mil and I don't think he'd mind a change of scenery.

Valencia could try buying Torres, I think that'd be a good move for him. He did relatively well this past season, I just hope if he leaves he'll be a scoring machine back in Spain

I read a story yesterday that Spurs are open to selling Bale to Real with Modric included as part of the deal.
