    Re: The Transfer Thread

If Gio goes to Spurs, I'll be pissed.
    Blind to this impending fate
We let the world carry our weight
It's back breaks with every mile
But we all live in denial

Barca was thinking about possibly loaning him out for a year, but he wasn't having it.

Looks like Barca have joined the hunt for Hleb. With Real, Inter and now Barca all chasing, perhaps Arsene can get a nice transfer fee to put towards a CM (not to mention seal the Nasri deal)...

Gilardino to Fiorentina looks to be a done deal. I'm sure Calcutta is hoping he can recapture his old form...

Juventus is closing in on Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso. If this happens, I'm sure the Barry-to-Merseyside rumors will begin again...

And for the Spurs fans, Nice GK Hugo Lloris has said he is open to a switch to Tottenham. A word of caution however, as Italian giants AC Milan and French champions Lyon are also said to be in the hunt...

              Yessir!

But i'm disappointed to read that Andrea Barzagli has opted to join VfL Wolsfurg instead of La Viola He joins fellow Italian Christian Zaccardo there, and now the Bundesliga club supposedly want Sampdoria's Fabio Quagliarella too!

And AC Milan have quickly replaced Gilardino by re-signing Marco Borriello from Genoa.

Why on Earth would Inter Milan make this swap?

Also read that Bayern Munich are giving up on prying Gattuso away from AC Milan, stating that "they just kept putting more and more money on the table." Too lazy to link...

Hleb is also saying that the reports are false and he doesn't want to leave, and that his agent never implied he was unhappy at Arsenal. This could be some move to try and drive up his value, but I hope he's telling the truth and really does want to stay.

Well, looks like Lloris has chosen Lyon, stating that neither Milan nor Spurs will be in the Champions League while Lyon will be making its ninth consecutive appearance. 'Nuff said I guess...

Not a bad signing though, I'm sure he'll be much better at Milan than he was at Barca.

Mourinho may line up a raid on Stamford Bridge (notice in the picture that Mourinho loves that bedraggled, just got out of school look lol)...

Speaking of Milan, they are eyeing Sporting Lisbon star Miguel Veloso...

And Milan has loaned Yoann Gourcuff to Bordeaux...
