Fellaini to United, 27.5M confirmed by Everton.
United really missed David Gill this windowComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I guess since the Ba loan deal to Arsenal/Roma fell through we had to get rid of one ST. Torres' wages make him pretty much untouchable. Eto just came in so it was up to Lukaku/Ba and Lukaku is a lot more desirable on the open market.
It sucks because we all want him to do well, and do well in Chelsea shirt but I think it will benefit us and him in the long run. He'll play every match at Everton and give everyone a reason to watch them now.Comment

Everton look a lot stronger than they did this morning. Lukaku is a beast!Comment

In crappy news for US Fans, Sunderland picks up Borini and loses a creative player in Sessegnon. They did pick up Dossena from Napoli though.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Didn't think I'd generate that many replies!
I think using "bad transfer" may have been wrong on reflection. I do agree with Ozil being a fantastic buy, although I do realise that sounds contradictory! I'll probably end up eating my words over the coming months. If Arsenal could have managed to get a world class striker then it would have been more beneficial for me.
I know it's not Premiership, but this is the first window in years that Leeds haven't sold one of their best players. I'm normally used to feeling a bit annoyed at this stage of the season, so it's a weird feeling! Was quite surprised we managed to keep hold of Sam Byram.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
All these young studs we have collected seem to be exceptionally level-headed, especially compared to other players their age. Courtois, who is probably the best keeper in Spain at the moment and seems pretty likely to be a future world top 3 keeper, said himself he is totally fine going on loan until Chelsea are ready to use him. Most of those Belgian boys seem to have a similar attitude.Comment

Funny, the team people often point to as the epitome of the word mercenary has some of the most loyal players in the prem.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Want Fellaini? Could've triggered his clause a month ago! This window has been a farce for Man. United. Publicly chasing Fabregas to no avail; missing out on other great targets (Strootman); bidding for Fellaini/Baines until we paid more just for one; and NOT EVEN TRYING TO SIGN OZIL.
On the bright side, I hope this allows Kagawa to take the 10 role and probably have United line up in a 4-3-1-2.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Try telling that to Ed Woodward and David Moyes.

Modric would have been a good signing also smh
I also hope he plays chicarito more often also, he deserves it and I think he belongs in the starting 11Manchester United Fan ~~ Real Madrid Supporter ~~ Juventus Supporter ~~ AS Roma SupporterComment
