Re: The Transfer Thread
Is it only me who is seeing Ozil as a bad transfer? Arsenal have Cazorla, Wilshere and Ramsey so, in my opinion, don't need to strengthen in that area. Add to that the huge fee paid, I'm just a bit confused. Surely a striker or a defender would be a better addition?Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Considering how oft-injured Wilshere is? Ramsey is just coming into his own, so what he brings consistently remains to be seen. Bringing in a World Class player is something I can hardly see as a "bad transfer" would've liked a few other things as well, but at least we got a superb player for depth.Support Local Sports

Re: The Transfer Thread
The team has needs, but you don't turn down the opportunity to sign someone like Ozil when he becomes available. Striker is still needed, but make no mistake, Ozil makes this team way way betterComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Now you have a midfield trio of Ramsey, Ozil, and Arteta/Wilshere, with Walcott on the right and Cazorla on the left, all feeding Giroud. That attacking force has the potential to be downright scary, and I didn't even include the quality backup options like Ox, Rosicky, Podolski, and Flamini. Add all this to the fact that Arsenal were the #2 defense in the EPL last season and the team is looking strong.
Could Arsenal have used another striker and defender? Absolutely, but the club is still in great shape.Comment
