That's an absolute steal in today's inflated market.

I can't believe how ungrateful Atletico's fans are, they're disgusting. After all he did for them, he scored many goals and was a key part in winning the Europa League and Super Cup, and they are calling him mercenary and they are criticizing him. It made me hard to root for them while Forlan was there.

          I think its fair.

I love Forlan's play in front of net and he can really finish from set pieces, but he's not going to be a complete substitute for the loss of Eto'o.

I'm very sad to see Eto'o go. He's not a full replacement but I think Forlan will fit in nicely with Inter.

Definitely a financial win for Inter.

Still surprising. If someone said at the beginning of the Summer Forlan would replace Eto'o at Inter, I would think maybe he'll play with Eto'o at Inter, but not replace him as he goes off to Russia.

I think Forlan will be linking up with Tevez before next Wednesday. I just can't see him staying at Man City.

I think that's it for Crouchy. Not even on the bench against Hearts.

                      Re: The Transfer Thread

I believe Forlan's value is more than 5M. I know he isn't young (32 years old), but can play different postitions, is a proven scorer and player, he has two Golden Boots, he was the best player of last year's World Cup, he was one of the key factors of Atletico's trophies and played a very good Copa América despite only scoring two goals. And last year his value was like three or four times that so this is a steal for Inter. I'm not saying he'll not play like Eto'o or that he'll score as much as he did but he'll be a valuable piece to Inter and hopefully he'll contribute a lot to them.

Also, Porto has rejected Chelsea's 20M offer for Palito because they want 30M for him.

Their ambition to improve their squad bothers me.

I think with them going after Parker and signing Adebayor they are trying to convince Modric that he is better off where he is.

Sounds like Luke Young to QPR.

Uhh...uh oh. Hoping Villa can somehow get Alan Hutton now.

Edit: Never mind. Totally forgot Villa has Lichaj!
