    Re: The Transfer Thread

Seems like the rumored transfer price of Fabregas is about the same as Sergo Aguero.
They are also about the same age.
Aguero is doing really well too.

Seems like a market price to pay for a world class player.

I dont think Arsenal is being shafted out of the price.
They got a good profit off Fabregas, just as Atletico Madrid got a nice profit off Aguero and Man U got a decent amount off Ronaldo.

The price for Cesc should've started at £40 million.

Some of the early morning editions of the British tabloids have the following:

Chelsea interested in Liverpool's Raul Meireles. (Highly doubt we would sell to a rival unless the offer is ridiculous money)

Nicolas Anelka wants to quit Chelsea

Leicester offer £3 million to Everton for Beckford. (Not likely. Everton have zero funds, very small squad, not going to happen. Especially for that price). Foxes also interested in Yakubu.

Chelsea to make final offer of £30 million to Spurs for Modric. Benayoun possibly included in deal.

Wont be able to get Ronaldo/Kaka type prices unless the player has won a FIFA world player of the year award.

Actually, u can even argue that Ronaldo is a steal for Real Madrid considering the number of goals he scored.

Not to mention I don't see Dalglish getting rid of him. He's been pretty damn solid. Even though his new haircut is rubbish.

I doubt we let him go either. With all the midfield reinforcements Kenny has made I fully expect Aquilani to go, Joe Cole to be sold or loaned out and proably Jay Spearing and or Shelvey to be loaned to a lower level Premiership team. BTW Meireles hair is total rubbish!

I didn't recognize him when he was getting ready to come on Saturday. It's amazing how different he looked just with hair.

I hope your new employers appreciate your surging runs forward that result in you falling down in a weak attempt to draw a foul instead of passing to an open teammate.

Sounds like Carlos Salcido is on his way out of Fulham and is headed back to Mexico

And then leave our entire right side wide open for an attack.

                      I will miss his dancing...

He really has such potential. When running with the ball at his feet, he's brilliant. But his decision making is usually terrible. The clip when him and Cesc hugged made me a bit sad. Plus, Eboue was known for being a really positive guy in the dressing room and always making guys laugh and relax. So, that is definitely something that can be missed.

Also, when he was booed off against Wigan, that was way, way too harsh.

Don't disparage the balding man's mohawk. That's pretty much the only hairstyle he can have other than shaving it clean where you can't tell.

I didn't think it looked THAT bad, lol. I'm cutting him some slack.

                              Blackburn after Raul again.

EDIT: Raul has already come out and rejected Blackburn. No surprise there!

Adebayor close to a loan move to Spurs. He won't be visiting the Emirates until February. Mark your calendars Gooners!
