Probably a good move for him. He'll surely make more sitting on City's bench as opposed to sitting on United's.

It would be very strange to see Malouda as a Gunner:

Wonder if we'll actually see Bradley play. I don't remember seeing him play once on his loan over at Villa.

He only played four times for Villa.

I would say so. I've always thought he would be a perfect fit in Italy. He just doesn't have the pace to be successful in England.

Forgive me if this is a foolish question, I don't follow football as closely as others here, but why does it seem Arsenal is only going after wingers? Gervinho and now Malouda. Shouldn't they be looking for a midfield replacement for Fabregas/Nasri? Or does Arsene Wenger believe he already has that in Wilshere or Ramsey?

He's also made two bids for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and inquired about Benayoun from Chelsea. One could argue that Gervinho replaces Nasri, but that would obviously still leave a huge hole in midfield.

Also, a loan offer was turned down for Kaka, as Madrid was looking to sell, not loan.

Malouda isn't really a traditional winger. He has the quality to deliver crosses but not the pace anymore to beat his man consistently. Besides that he always drifts in. He has the technical skills to play in Wenger's system but he's too selfish. When he's on form (like he was at the start of last year) he is deadly though.
