    Re: The Transfer Thread

Absolutely nothing to do with Rodgers. He's a disgrace of a footballer and considering his talents his attitude is a waste. He doesn't deserve to have the life he has.

Wow that's harsh. His attitude might not be the best but I don't wish him any ill will. His father died over the summer and you feel for that loss.

I think he could be a decent player but time and patience are running out. He's squandered enough of his career despite playing at City, both Milan clubs, and Liverpool.

He may not deserve the life he has but that's not for me to judge. Time is almost up on him anyway because if he ****s up at Milan again his career is going to be over

        Ok then.
Im happy he's back. He's not going to be our first team srtiker as long as Bacca/Adriano are healthy.

And if he does get it together, even better.

De Bruyne to City looks like it's done.

£54m, medical tomorrow, and possibly announced on Friday. City just got a bit scarier in attack.

Juve are rumoured to be interested in taking Narsi. Could happen with KDB coming in.

Huge deal for Wolfsburg. IIRC, they paid £18 for him.

I like de Bruyne a lot. Too bad he's going to City, but gosh are they looking dangerous. Aguero, Sterling, Silva and now De Bruyne. That's an insane attack

And one that is equally bad at defending/getting back.

Good signing though. I'd imagine Navas gets pushed to the bench although he's one of a dying breed, an out and out winger.

Which should be surprising to no one.

Looks like the De Gea transfer deal to Real Madrid is finally going to go through. €35 million.

Also, Fabio Borini to Sunderland for £10 million.

Hearing that United have agreed on terms with Monaco for Martial. Somewhere around 36 mil pounds.

That's nuts. A top 10 keeper in the world goes for 10 million less than an unproven youngster. Lot of talent and promise but still.

Keepers just aren't valued the same. Barcelona bought Marc-Andre ter Stegen for €12 million. He's young and is already the best German keeper not named Neuer.
