Re: The Transfer Thread
On one hand 7 years is a long time but on the other hand, it seemed to go quick. People will forget how good he was before this final season where he was just too slow to stay with it.
Other Spurs news, Joe Hart signed for a free. Exactly what Spurs needed, a cheap English option and a 3rd GK. Now we are able to sign a non-English player.
Oliver Skipp also joined Norwich on loan.
Arsenal signed Tim Akinola on a free. I have never heard of him but I have seen some people say he has potential to be pretty good but got started late (first pro team was when he was 16).Current careers:

Re: The Transfer Thread
Another year, another example of the Glazers not backing a manager. They need defensive help and all supporters here is **** all. Fine, they were in for Sancho publicly and it’s basically dead now. To be honest, up front is the least of their worries. I swear, this team used to be cutting edge in scouting, transfers, and recruitment. Now I think they just throw darts blindly and hope it works.
United were very very fortunate to finish 3rd. It had more to do with other clubs giving it away rather than United themselves. They aren’t the 3rd best team in the league fighting to finish top of the league soon. They are a second tier club that can finish anywhere from 3rd-7th. When has that become good enough for Manchester United FFS? So frustrating.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Well, it is the same hierarchy who allegedly went after Sanchez just so City could not get him.
I don’t know if they’re throwing darts, but they do seem to let the general market interest drive their interest, and it never seems like they have a clear plan window to window.Comment
