Samba's a very underrated player. He can even play up front if necessary. Quite a handful.

From what I understand, the financial situation in the SPL isn't very good and LA can probably give him a comparable offer to stay.

You are correct in that the SPL is not in the best financial shape. Too bad Rangers and Celtic are still doing pretty well. I have a hard time believing that L.A. will pony up the money for Buddle to keep him in the States. Now if this were Beckham or Donovan it would be different.
