The only thing Ronaldinho is good for these days is holding court at the pre-match buffet and then coming on to do standing step-overs for 10 minutes to please the crowd.

This whole Beckham to Spurs fiasco is/was (didn't the deal fall through?) a total joke. Beckham just needs to go away at this point. All he'd do to Spurs is slow them down.

    That kinda sucks.

    Must get Makoun, though.
You should be kind of glad Bridge didn't come. He's a double-threat kind of guy...crap AND overpaid. Then again, he's probably an improvement over what Villa is running out there.

I can pretty much guarantee that he's better than that prick Stephen Warnock right now.

Just a bit. Clark is playing LB over Warnock now, and Clark is a CB.

In much, much happier news, Gerrard Houllier is at Lyon right now and will likely be bringing Jean Makoun with him.

That, hopefully, will be enough to avoid relegation. Just need a striker...

A fee has been agreed with Spurs to sell Keano to Birmingham. His wages could be a stumbling block as he's on 65k a week.

Fee agreed and Makoun is at Villa having a medical.

                So awesome

                  From Liverpool's website.

They are interested in Stephen Warnock-Villa, Victor Obinna & Scott Parker-West Ham, and Luis Suarez-Ajax.

                      My guess is Spurs.

Tottenham have emerged as favourites to sign Steven Pienaar from Everton after the midfielder's £3m move to Chelsea collapsed

Parker could be that muscle in the middle that Liverpool are missing. Suarez and Torres up top?? hmmmmm

At this point, that's all Liverpool has going for them.
