Re: The Transfer Thread
I'd rather a defender, but I'd like to see De Los Cobos do something this window.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Great for the MLS to have someone of Henry's stature playing in their league. From what I have seen of him this past year (and its not that much I admit) it has looked to me like his legs have gone and his days at the top of the game were coming to an end.
I think this is a good fit for Henry, he's said in the past that he would like to live in New York and I would imagine the salary won't hurt either. I also don't see him doing a Beckham and getting itchy feet to play in Europe again seeing as he has retired from international duty.
If he has gone there for football, not just the lifestyle then he will very tough for any defence to handle.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Rumor is the Chicago Fire will announce tomorrow the signing of Nery Castillo, and that they
are looking to acquire another DP. Another crazy rumor is Blanco being the other DP.
Barca sign Adriano from Sevilla.

Re: The Transfer Thread
Interesting signing for Madrid. I've only seen him a couple of times and I don't think he is Madrid quality at the moment. He's Spanish, so that might be the reason they went with him as the Madridistas have been wanting the squad to get a little more Spanish"The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. I'm madridista and spanish and I don't care if a player is French, Italian, Brazilian or Spanish. I want good players, wherever they are.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
If it is Blanco, I might throw something. Fingers crossed for someone decent, and hopefully someone who can defend on the flanks. Oh please, not Blanco.Comment
