MLS honchos surely have noticed the extent to which Donovan has become the poster boy for American soccer due to the Cup success. He was one of the most prominent athletes at the ESPYs, for chrissakes -- a notion that would have been unthinkable prior to the Cup. His value to US soccer and, specifically, MLS has skyrocketed.
Donovan, too, might be putting the brakes on a move, or at least a delay until the winter window. That Bianca, with her tempting wares...Comment
