It's a miracle Valencia didn't get relegated in recent years. From a certain perspective, it's lucky to be alive as a club, at all. The club brass really screwed the pooch with the Nou Mestalla mess.

The interesting thing isn't that Villa, Silva, et al. are moving on; it's that they were able to stick around for so long.

Damn Deuce might go Italia...sad to see him without Fulham...argh, I hope it doesn't pan out even though Hodgson is going to be a Red.

Link Napoli is the only team mentioned but has not made an offer, it's going to be strange seeing Clint in Italy if he goes.

Looks like Raul isn't coming to America just yet. He's reportedly agreed to a deal with German side Schalke 04.

Rangers front man Kris Boyd has agreed to join Middlesbourough.

On paper that looks a good signing for Boro, scored a lot of goals for Rangers but he will not get as many clear cut chances playing in the Championship as he enjoyed at Rangers so will be interesting to see how we gets on. Boro have a lot of ex SPL players now since Strachan took over and they really struggled to find any consistency last year.

Off topic but does anyone follow the Championship on here? Its a really competitive league that I follow on a weekly basis as my supported team play there.

Also, a little surprised to see Yossi sign for Chelsea. Don't know if Hodgson got a real say in this transfer but I do think its a great signing for Chelsea and he will probably fill the Joe Cole role.

                              I don't.

You can't find many Championship games on in the States.
