Dan Gosling leaves Everton because of contract error.

It's happened before with other clubs but this could cost Everton £4m as they could have recieved that much in compensation via a tribunal.
I can understand him wanting to leave as he wants regular first team football. I don't see it hurting Everton that much other than financially as although he is a good young prospect he isn't in the same class as say Rodwell.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
This is an odd one, Everton must have either been very confident he was going to sign or they have just been really stupid, probably both actually.

Re: The Transfer Thread
I see a big club jumping on him. Free transfer plus reasonable wage demands, thats a no brainer to jump on a kid like Gosling. I think he ends up at a place no worse than Aston Villa.
I would love for Arsenal to take a good look at this kid. Regardless, whoever gets him will have done a good piece of business."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
Looks like Barcelona wasn't successful with their pathetic tactics to acquire Cesc. I guess not being able to afford their own players might be partially responsible.

Re: The Transfer Thread
Frankly, if I was a barca supporter, I would be glad he's not coming, he should during the World Cup that he's not good enough to Play for Barca.
And the Price tag?50M lol, 35M would have been to much to pay for him.(For Barca)Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Villa - Messi - Pedro
Xavi - Iniesta
Busquets
Technically they usually lineup in 4-3-3 but Busquets/Toure always end up playing behind Xavi. Maybe you could move Iniesta up for Pedro and employ Cesc next to Xavi for some real possession fball but Pedro was a stud last yr and brings more pace and a willingness to go for goal (something Iniesta does have).Comment
