I personally hope he comes to New York. Might give me a reason to watch some MLS games."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
Barca have allowed Thierry Henry to leave...
Please...do NOT come to America. I don't see it, anyway. He has too much pride.
Why would you not want him to come to America? I don't quite understand the logic in that. Do you not want to see your own domestic league prosper? Imagine the people going to see Henry and I have heard of numerous of players saying they want to end there career America after Henry stated in an interview mate.MCRD October 29. Oh Rah!

Re: The Transfer Thread
I think it's just kinda sad that Henry is coming to America to end his career. Yeah he was way off this season and is no close to being the same Henry of old, but c'mon, you're telling me he can't catch on with a decent Ligue 1 team, or a mid to low level Prem. team?Comment

Over the hill stars isnt gonna make the league prosper.
Via Sky Sports,
Mexican International Efrain Juarez is being linked with West Ham while his Club/Int. teammate Pablo Barrera is being linked with Lazio
And finally, Luis Fabiano has linked himself to Man United and MilanComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I didn't say any of that. I could care less if he were to want to go to another league but the fact that he is coming to New York is amazing. Do you not care that your domestic league is growing and players are now wanting to come over? Being from Scotland and now living in America in recent years I have watched the MLS grow and the play really pick up. This is something the MLS needs. IMO. I can only stand to watch two leagues SPL and MLS so I am bias I understand that mate.MCRD October 29. Oh Rah!

I think Beckham did help the league. Either way the MLS is growing and this would help.MCRD October 29. Oh Rah!
