    Spoiler
We'll see but this looks like it could be a good signing for Liverpool, he looks to be a solid creative midfielder which is just what Liverpool need, someone for Suarez to play off of.

Agreed. It's easy to make anyone look good with a YouTube highlight cut, but what I saw was some great ball skills and vision in those plays. Will be interesting to see what he can do against EPL defenders.

Wow! Southampton are breaking the bank for Gaston Ramirez. It's rumoured to be in the region of £11.8m.

Dempsey's been left out of Fulham's squad for this weekend and has been fined for refusing to play.

I blame your club :P - pretty crappy display so far. Although Dempsey says via twitter that there are two sides to the story, and "the truth will come out". So we'll see what unfolds.

Still, very much bummed out Deuce isn't suiting up anywhere...blah.

How is it Liverpool's fault that Dempsey is refusing to play? It would be one thing if Liverpool had actually tabled a bid. Dempsey would still be acting like a baby, but at least there would be a concrete reason for him to be holding out. But Liverpool haven't tabled a bid. Fulham can't sell unless Liverpool offer, so holding out is foolish.

I'm no fan of Nasri, but he played for Arsenal despite being on his way out, and he had a fantastic game at that. There's a right and wrong way to do this, and Dempsey chose the way where he disrespects the club that's been nothing but good to him for years.

Still don't buy this Dempsey thing one bit. Probably has more to do with Fulham trying to save face with their fans while at the same time letting their star player go.

Dempsey has Liverpool, another English club and a Serie A team after him.

All the negative vitriol aimed at Clint is just silly, IMO. Unless anything out comes out, the only person I'm believing here is Clint: "There are two sides to the story. The truth will come out soon."

I have to side with Deuce regardless. This is just sillyness though. I've been checking literally every morning to see when he was going to transfer. It's just sad to think that teams are not seeing his value. He is one of the best players in the world, who cares about his age - clubs usually need one good season to get into a good spot for the next year; what does age have to do with it.

Furthermore, Dempsey is a player who has seen the limelight at EVERY level other than the Champions league. He has scored goals of the season, he has scored game winners for club and country. He's a leader, a natural - any club that has him on the team, should not even hesitate to put him in the starting eleven.

Deuce needs to hire you as his agent.

Song is not starting today, so he's on his way to Spain.

Fine with me. He doesn't want to be here, get out. We'll sign someone else. Won't be a defensive midfielder, but at least we'll get someone.

Oh hey, Martin Jol exaggerated! SHOCKER!

"To say he refused to play is probably a bit harsh, but he wanted to move and if you want to move you don't want to take risks so you don't want to play in case you get an injury."
