It's in line with how they've been running the club for the past few years.

It's crazy to think Milan were on the same level as Barca/RM not even that long ago.

Serie A has had a pretty spectacular fall from grace

They still have the money and the status as a well-known team globally, but they're in a hole that makes Manchester United's issues look manageable. A lot of bad decisions. Kaka, Honda, Essien, anyone? Even acquiring Balotelli in the first place seems odd in retrospect. Like they were just adding players based on name recognition.

                  I. Am. Furious. At the price Milan let Mario go for, and the timing. Theres no way Milan can afford a quality replacement especially in this time frame. Not to mention the top target Milan wants, Porto isnt budging on. **** Galliani

Damn it, I'm really going to miss seeing Di Maria in those white Real Madrid shirts. Red just doesn't seem like his color, to me.

I'm crossing my fingers as well. I would really hate to see Di Maria go to Manchester United. It's not 100% complete so we can cross our fingers and pray another team hijacks the deal. Hell, I'd rather see him go to Bayern, and I don't like Bayern.

I just have a feeling its a disaster waiting to happen. Manchester needs to stop focusing on wingers and bring in a DM and some CB's. Di Maria isn't the key to success for Manchester.

I don't know, I like the idea of Di Maria creating things on attack, feeding Van Persie, etc. It'll be up to van Gaal to not over think it, and just let him off the leash.

Di Maria definitely won't solve all of our problems, but he's instantly better than all of our current wingers. If we don't end up buying another CM and perhaps a CB, this transfer window won't be considered much of a success.

Just so we are clear, Di Maria is an excellent talent and a wonderful player and good for Man U.

However, the problems at Man U are placed squarely on the dreadful back four that Fergie left for his successors and a weak midfield.
