    Re: The Transfer Thread

    Spurs are doing things

    Bissouma
    Perisic
    Djaed Spence
    Possibly Eriksen & Richarlson too

I was hoping for the Conte dust up but it looks like we’re going to have to wait until at least next year

Djed Spence is already pretty unlikeable so he will fit right in.

Unforch about Richarlison though I liked him.

Not too sure of Kalvin Phillips to Man City. You are not getting in ahead of Rodri.

Gotta remember the 5 subs and how bad Fernandinho is now as Rodri’s replacement. They had/have depth at every position except for CDM.

I think you’re going to see a lot of signings by the Big 6 that normally wouldn’t make sense on surface but when you dig deeper it’s for depth considering how crazy the fixture list will be next year with PL/Carabao & FA Cups/winter WC/ Euro Qualifiers.

It’s why at first I was like “what the hell are Arsenal doing signing another 10” but then you gotta figure they have Europa next year and you just need quality throughout the squad.

^ Yeah that's true, and Pep sure does like to change the lineup every single game. Riyad Mahrez for example, I'd have him in the lineup every single match but more often than not he's coming off the bench.

Yeah, don't remind me! Phil Foden played out of his skull after you picked him up off waivers when I ditched him. He wasn't getting any time on the pitch until you got him.

Newcastle are close to wrapping up Sven Botman. Botman (6’5) & Dan Burn (6’6) have to be the two tallest starting CB pairing the league has had.

                      Well damn.

That was a waste but I guess it was always looked at as a stopgap.

Tyler Adams to Leeds for 20 mil. Good to see another American in the Prem joining Aaronsen at Leeds United States.

He wasn't going to sign an extension so they cashed in on him now. We (Chelsea) were after him hard but the wage demands and the appeal of Bayern to a Dutch player was too much.

                            De Ligt
                            Mane
                            Gravenberch

Plus they re-upped Gnabry and Coman. That's a nice window right there, even with losing Lewandoski

I was listening to this today on Sirius XM FC, and they said De Ligt just didn’t enjoy the play style in Serie A. He just never got comfortable. He said the play style in the Bundesliga is much more similar to the style he played at Ajax in the Eredevisie.

That's odd considering De Ligt has been considered to be one of or the best player by Juve fans on reddit. Also, the fact he chose Italy in order to develop his game further.
