EA Sports PGA Tour 23 atmosphere ideas.

So here’s a couple small touches that I feel would be very immersive for the game, First off , take a look at this very early EA Rory Mcilroy PGA Tour 15 screenshot, notice anything? It shows not only the player and his caddie, but also his playing partner, his caddie and even a players staff bag alongside the green. This would be excellent to have put into the game for immersion. I don’t know why it was ultimately cut but I’ve heard it was hardware limitation’s which we know PS5 has improved drastically.

Here’s another detail I thought would be nice, during the weekend at Augusta as you are playing the final stretch into amen corner you hear the “Back nine Roars” , maybe you are lining up a putt on 15 when all of the sudden somebody in front of you birdies the par 3 16th. As happens in real life. Even better, it could reflect on the leaderboard.

I could go on and on but I’ll leave it at those 2 for now, cmon EA! Don’t let us down.

Hopefully this game can finally deliver all that was hoped for out of Rory 15

Me too, I know for me personally, just having Augusta will fill a lot of the void. But there’s much more that can really make this game shine.

As far as I know, this is the only “2014ish” screen out there, though in some of the trailers they show some pretty early footage but nothing too different besides lighting and the players name and score box being slightly different.

That was the screenshot that really got me most excited for RMPGAT. It always felts so empty to be playing a career mode tournament round, yet not have the other golfers and caddies in view when they should be. I want to see the other golfer(s) in my group, doing what they'd be doing IRL if I was playing a tournament round with them, caddies included... both mine and theirs.

Furthermore, I'd like to see golfers on adjacent holes playing their rounds off in the distance, and preferably on the hole they should be on at the time according to the leaderboard and their start times. That's what it's going to take to sell me on the career mode experience... it just feels incomplete without these essential items.

Also a critical component to selling the "liveness" and the drama of a real competitive event. I like your thinking on this and hope that a dev or two is reading it!
