GM Aldridge Strikes Again!


According to my sources, the Montreal Canadians have just made a deal to acquire Nathan Horton from the Anaheim Ducks. They say Matt Lombardi, Matt Garon, a 1st rounder and some player rights were involved.

"It was a tough decision," stated Aldridge. "But we needed a right winger to put with the Sedins, he has a ton of potential."

It was also stated that they are working out the details to a new contract, worth approximately 5 M over 3 years. In addition, Jason Blake and Pavel Datsyuk have sign 3 year deals to keep them here in Montreal for awhile. Although reluctant at first, Sheldon Souray agreed to a one year extension.
