It's the beginning of the 2011 NHL season, and the Ottawa Senators are looking to sneak into the the postseason. Although the road will be tough, and plenty of challenges lie ahead, fans believe that this year's squad can reach playoff hockey. According to the front office of the Senators, "we will be pleasantly surprised if we reach the 2012 playoffs."

New General Manager Addi has come into Ottawa looking to push the Senators to nothing but improvement. In his first ever trip to Canada, Slim starts a new life in Ottawa with the Senators. His best player is center Jason Spezza, the man in charge of leading the Senators to victory this year. "Jason has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, we have guys with tons of potential, we just need to get it out them, hopefully Jason is the guy who can lead them to being successful," said Addi of his star player.

It's a new era in Ottawa, and fans are anxious to get it started. Hopefully Addi can bring success to Ottawa.
