Yeah I was going to say the same thing, you can't really wonder why you're having issues when you're running on an obsolete operating system that hasn't been used for years

Time to upgrade to Windows 10 my friend..

Thanks! I turned it off and I messed with some more settings. I'm running Mesh @ Ultra and Shadows @ Med now with a smooth and buttery 60fps. Not bad for a GTX 670 haha. Almost looks as good as my PS4 Pro with Madden 18.
I wonder if this card can do HDR. I might hook this up to my OLED.

Oh does anyone know what to do with screen tearing? I'm getting a little bit but the TV I'm using is a 60hz 4K Samsung. My refresh rate should be at 60hz as well so idk what's going on. It's mostly with menus and the cutscenes.

Do you have VSYNC and TRIPLE BUFFERING both on? Those should be on to stop screen tearing.

Also, did you turn CROWD down to Low? Do it if you haven't as you'll get a lot of performance out of doing so and see very little difference in the graphics..

Same for me, I have no issues running Windows 10 with frame rate and everything at high or ultra. I also have a EVGA 1080 GTX card.

Re: Madden 19 PC Setting Options

So I made a thread on EA's forum about the snow and rain not falling with MSAA on. One of their reps said they will look into it. They had no idea it wasn't working.

I'd tell them we are available for testing in July next year for a free copy of the game lol...

Re: Madden 19 PC Setting Options

Wow, capping the FPS at 60 did the trick for me. Can now run the game at ultra 1440p on my GTX 970 and it looks beautiful! Confirmed with GeForce Experience FPS overlay that it never dips below 60 FPS.
