Re: Madden 19 PC Setting Options

Growing ever frustrated with Madden 19 on PC.

Specs are:

i7 2600K CPU @ 3.4ghz
16 Ram
GTX 970
Windows 10

I've overclocked my GTX to maybe say 1400 off the basse 1050 and still nothing really plays this game at 60fps for me at 1440p like other games(ie pes 2018 etc)

Optimized my pc so its not that

Can it really be my graphics card is THAT old?

There's rumor of a patch coming this week that will address optimization. Apparently, someone was told this by EA support.

GTX 1080 came out 2 years ago. GTX 970 came out in 2014. So yeah, it really is that old. Hell your CPU came out in 2011. So yeah man, your rig is out dated.

You are running a 7 (almost 8) year old cpu at stock speeds, that's got something to do with it.

This game is programmed poorly (ported poorly) in regards to pc performance. To many scenes where game is hard coded to run at 30 fps for some reason. It's not a normal game like Battlefield where 120 fps feels butter smooth. This is just more console like.

I'd say get your cpu updated and go from there. Actually you should wait until October and buy a 9th generation Intel, but that's just my opinion.

Like what? I don't have a scene fall under 50 FPS since switching to DX11. 60 FPS, sure, but not 30 FPS.
