Roster question.

Say I wanted to do a madden 08 roster on madden 19. How would you go about figuring the 3 QB accuracy ratings. In 08 it was one accuracy rating.

Look into the stats of the QBs in the game for that year. 20+ yards is DAC, 10+ yards is MAC, less than 10 yards is SAC. If you look up their stats I am sure there's a site that will breakdown their percentages in those categories. Or possibly there is a spreadsheet that one of the roster creators use that they could share with you.

I honestly just guess and I factor in if the QB is a rookie or a veteran. If they are known for long passes or are a checkdown Charlie type of QB. Then i will look into what type of accuracy I will give them.

Or you could start a dummy franchise and SIM to week three and edit the draft class. In the QB ratings edits it actually gives you EAs baseline for the accuracy ratings. Elite, Good, Average and Poor. It's a helpful tool to use.

You can get an idea by setting player comparisons , decide the closest current player and use their ratings as a template

Scaling it works like this:

High, 80

Good, 70

Average, 60

This is for awareness, and throw accuracy.

Throw power is: 99 - 90 - 80

This may look wrong at face value, but it is the best way for realism. Trust me, I have wasted hundreds of hours examining Madden simulation engine. Their are other edits needed as well, if you want tighter simulation and game play stats.
