Have to know when to throw it away or take a sack, too. A punt is almost always better. Easier said than done, I’ll force it into coverage or throw as the QB gets hit for an easy INT, sometimes, but gotta remind yourself.

Haven't played Madden in a while. Does the force in which you hit the pass button not determine what kind of pass you do anymore? I'm trying to do a bullet pass to my WRs on cross routes but it feels like every pass is a floater and gobbled up by a defender.

I’m pretty sure it’s still that holding the pass button produces a bullet pass, while tapping the pass button produces a lob pass.

For sure. Definitely need some more reps…should have played the preseason games I guess lol!!

None of the INTs felt cheap…all were bad throws where I said “oh **** didn’t see that guy”…and a couple were toss ups and one on one challenges, but it was against the Bills and Cowboys who have superb secondaries….

Here's a recommendation - look short to long instead of long to short. Just a guess, but I'd bet a good bit of the picks were throws downfield. If you find someone open short, get it to him. Also, know where the dump-off guys are going.

What roster should I be using when I start a new franchise? I went to real life NFL rosters and in my preseason game the Dolphins had Mostert 3rd on the chart and Bijan behind Patterson for the Falcons.

Have you checked to see if you have a roster update to download? Once you do that, when you start a franchise I think there’s a “use active roster” option that you can select.

I just remembered that I switched to Zoom cam for offense instead of standard. That is why my passing felt off. I switched back to Standard and passing felt like I remembered.
