Seanzie's "THERE ARE ALREADY TOO MANY ****ING SLIDERS" Realistic All-Madden Sliders

So, after having spent nearly a month with this sometimes wonderful, sometimes frustrating game, I like to think I've come up with an awesome set of sliders that are challenging but predicated completely on realism.

My thought process with sliders is this: if I play an elite team with a bad team, I should lose most of the time. Vice versa, if I play a bad team with an elite team, the game should feel easier. Teams that have strong defenses should feel like they have strong defenses. Teams with poor offensive lines should feel as though they have poor offensive lines. Colt McCoy shouldn't be the second coming of Russell Wilson. You get the point.

Additionally, I wanted to see a realistic number of plays. To be more specific, I wanted to see anywhere from 110 to 150 plays per game.

Passing, while not impossible, is not extremely easy. If you have a poor QB and a poor OL, you are going to struggle most days. You will not have all day to throw. Remember to step up in the pocket (when one exists). It can be frustrating, but it is in the name of realism.

Originally, I really liked All-Pro but I felt as I adjusted to the game that it simply became a little too easy without completely nerfing the Player Sliders and making it feel like I was playing at a severe disadvantage. So, obviously, I had to move everything up to All-Madden, and begin my testing again. And that's where we are now.

I'd like to say that these are final because I've been playing with them with a couple minor adjustments here and there, but we shall see.

I also have a custom roster I use that combines preseason rosters with (mostly) up to date transactions, along with moving most QB to have the trait "Paranoid" or for a select few, "Oblivious" as I still think it adds to the game. If there is a demand for them, I will gladly upload them. I play on Xbox One.

Also a big thing with my sliders: THESE ARE MEANT TO BE PLAYED WITH PENALTIES AT DEFAULT LEVELS! ALL 50'S! I know it's a bummer, but Madden's penalty sliders have been broken in every iteration of the game. Penalty sliders never give realistic amounts of penalty calls on a per game basis, and also have ADVERSE effects on gameplay. I've tested my own sliders with several other community members penalty sliders, and felt an imbalance that wasn't there otherwise. So yes, my sliders will give realistic gameplay and statistics, but few penalties. That's unfortunately how it has to be.

There are no real house rules for these sliders, but I will admit that I feel like the game plays better if you use the "Defensive Perspective" camera on defense, and don't constantly switch players.

Any setting not listed is player choice.

With no further adieu...

Skill Level: All-Madden
Quarter Length: 15 Minutes
Accelerated Clock: On
Minimum Play Clock: 14
Game Speed: Normal

Pre Existing Injury: Off (mostly because some players would be out for the season, but could not be placed on IR)

Play Call Style: Quick (too often I would press the wrong button when trying to get back to the play calling screen)
Strafe Assist: On
Pre Snap Menu: On
Coaching Tips: Off
Player Names: Pre Snap
Heat Seeker: On
Ball Hawk: On
Switch Assist: On
Defensive Graphics: Full
Kick Aiming Arc: On

Player Skill

QB Accuracy: 8

CPU Skill

QB Accuracy: 8

Very happy to have come across these sliders. I have been trying 3/4different slider sets over the last month, but these give me thebest games. Thanks!

This was a tight one. The Bears actually opened up a 17-3 lead on me as Mike Glennon started out 4 of 13 for me, and I could not move the ball. Jay Cutler was tearing it up at first, but soon got a little too aggressive forcing passes, and threw a couple picks. He eventually got hurt in the fourth quarter and gave way to Jimmy Clausen. Clausen completed a good portion of his passes, but they were all little 2 yard dinks. The two passes he threw beyond 10 yards were inaccurate incompletions. Luckily, I was able to hang on to the lead.

I'm really curious to see if everyone else gets good results from these!

is All Madden any better in regards to being a sack fest? I use the MLB on defense, yet my CPU controlled DLineman rack up career high's in sacks half way through the season on all-pro

Re: Seanzie's "THERE ARE ALREADY TOO MANY F***ING SLIDERS" Realistic All-Madden Slide

I've played 3 games now and my opponent has always jumped out to big leads on me.... I fight back and lose by 6-10 points. On all-madden I feel as though the qb looks down field a lot more and just plays a better game. BigBen had 330 and 3 tds against me and had a 77 yard bomb to antonio brown in there. The sacks are still there and there is nothing to help that. My next game I'm going to try to lower CPU qb accuracy and higher my pass protection and see how things go.

Yes and no. QB traits play into it a big deal, and QB's that have the ideal or oblivious trait tend to take more sacks. Also, QB's who scramble a lot have a slight tendency to run into defensive ends who push the offensive tackle back.

In my online franchise, through Week 15, my team has 58 sacks, which leads the league by about 10, but I sacked Cam Newton 12 times in one game, and Johnny Manziel 8 in another, so that accounts for 20 sacks alone. I've had a few games where I've gotten zero or one.

In my testing, turning up the computer pass blocking too high results in a total inability to get pressure (you will still get the odd sack from a mistimed scramble or HB screen gone wrong), which makes the CPU QB complete 80%+ of their passes on a consistent basis. With my sliders, if a QB feels pressure (human or CPU), the throw has a good chance of being inaccurate.

Out of curiosity, who are you playing as?

Re: Seanzie's "THERE ARE ALREADY TOO MANY ****ING SLIDERS" Realistic All-Madden Slide

Was the Skins...... Now commited to the browns in an all new season. Made a few very minor tweaks to your sliders and had another great game. 31-24 loss to the Steelers. Big Ben threw for 277 22/29 and Hayward Bey made 3 guys miss on an amazing TD. Hoyer threw for 218 and 1 TD. Only completed 55% but went deep a few too many times. Both rbs struggled. I started West and he had 24 carries for 60 yards and Bell had 22 carries for 80 yards. Seriously, you're on to something and people are missing out. I will let you know what I tweaked tomorrow and jeep ya posted on the season.
