Do sliders affect play calling?

I do cpu vs cpu and it seems like the Giants throw too much. Eli ends up throw 40+ passes every game. Will increasing a slider like coverage make them audible to a run play more often?

There has never been a connection between the sliders and play calling that I am aware of.
Play calling is definitely pass heavy this year. Which is not a good thing.

Higher Qb ACC, will cause more audibles. Now how good the audible is for CPU AI QBs, there’s no way to know. But there is a connection, probably not strong. Too many passes being called is a playbook thing. All of these playbooks have way more passing plays.

Last year you could change coaches schemes. Turning it to zone run or power run meant they were gonna run it about 10 more times than they throw it, unless they get behind.

The Giants attempted the 3rd most pass attempts per game in the NFL last year (38 per game), and have averaged 43.3 pass attempts per game over the last 3 years.

Playing from behind a lot - I can see why Eli threw that much. Would think they would run more now with Barkley, but they are pass happy in Madden 19. Could be what we see from Shurmur in real life, but I would think they will be more balanced.

What scheme are they set to this year?

One thing I'm a little frustrated by is that we can't set teams to use any of the generic playbooks. Run balanced would work well if you wanted the Giants to use Barkley more.

He speaks the truth. One of the few setbacks in the game is the inability to change coaches scheme’s and playbooks.

When the season gets good and going, the playcalling should be adjusted. Didn’t do an update till end of regular season last year and that roster update played way better than the default. May just take time for some of the more nuanced things.

Re: Do sliders affect play calling?

I play on 9 min quarters with no run clock and I been getting a nice balance of play calling. Yes most teams throw more but this is a throwing league so I understand it. But I still get a good balance
