Clint is a very transparent person who allows people to actually DM him on twitter... He has responded to everything I have ever sent him... I highly suggest we all message him about giving us the option to assign the CPU custom playbooks

What does this do for the CPU? Simply, it gives them more then same 20 plays to call each game. The game is programmed to call things best on what you select on defense/offense, so if you keep calling same defense/offense and they only have 20 plays to choose from, you get a repeat of the same things. With this setup they have up to 150 plays to choose from depending on the down and distance. Makes the CPU completely unpredictable with their playcalling and you can play the same team three straight times and get a different experience each game. I've yet to find someone actually try these and tell me they didn't notice a completely different game. IMO, this make a BIGGER impact then traits/sliders because it changes the way the CPU thinks in the most important part of football, the play calling!

THE METHOD TO THE MADNESS

*Condensed each playbook to 17 formation and right under 250 plays
*Removed shot plays
*Removed HB screen unless in 3x2 alignment
*Removed four verts
*Removed Playaction from 3/4 long and medium
*Removed screen plays from 4th down long/medium
*Added end around, jet sweeps and trick plays to every formation
*20 Different plays in the 2 minute offense
*In Goal line gave 1 run, 1 play action and 1 pass play each formation

RUNNING
2 star 1st down
.5 star 2nd/long
1.5 star 2nd/medium
3 star on 2nd/short
.5 star on 3rd/long
.5 star on 3rd/medium
1.5 star on 3rd/short
2 star redzone

DEFENSE
*Left only one cover 0 blitz per formation
*Each playbook has 4 Base formation, 4 nickel formations and 1 dime formation
*THE RATING SYSTEM*
3 star man plays
2 star zone plays
.5 star blitz plays

Here's the breakdown of each playbook type based on scheme. In order to know what playbook to assign the CPU, just go to the scheme section in CFM and see what the coach has.

Hi Sabo,

I am not sure if this is on me or not, but here is what I did and the game crashed after first possession.

Play Now mode
Assigned CPUMPRR as Offensive PB and CPU43MAN as Def PB in Settings
Started game
After Kickoff, paused and selected SIM
Selected Slow and Skip to end of game so I could watch the game snap by snap
First possession was a 3 and out
After punt stopped, got Blue Screen crash

Just FYI...probably something I did in set up...

I am not on ps4 but have been making custom playbooks and using the 3rd QB to asign playbooks for cpu teams .

Are you guys having issues with the game crashing after the team select screen inside cfm? This was the first time I had a chance to play with this last patch.

We had a little issue with the D books crashing but fixed them by recreating them... dont forget there is a memory threshold

No, but DM Clint on twitter saying you want them to add the option to assign custom playbooks to the CPU

Sliders are all up to you, I have stuff heavily skewed in the CPUs direction because the game is too easy for me... But there are a PLETHORA of options to choose from with guys like Josh, Jarrod, Charter, Armor, etc

your oldschool book i think fits perfect for the 80' and 90's but once i get into the 2000's im not sure.

I'm trying to do this but it's not allowing the "ghost playbook" team to be simulated by the computer. It's making me play the whole game. What am i doing wrong.
