You do it in-game and then close the app before backing out of the load & delete menu.

Any suggestions on how to make the CPU play a little better without touching their sliders? i feel like default is good but i would like them to run and pass the ball a lil better so im thinking taking another 5 off pass coverage and tackling?

I play with tackle at 40 and everything else the same as OP. 40 tackle works well. You could also maybe up the CPU pass accuracy to 55. They can get pretty cold sometimes.

I'll say two things:

1. I've pre-ordered the game (w/o hesitation)
2. I'm now 99.99% sure I won't be doing a slider thread this year.

I'll likely be on default AM all year (yes, I said AM); there are just so many interwoven systems in play now. I think doing sliders is going to be a mammoth rabbit hole this year and feedback is going to be impossible to manage because we have so many systems in-place (game planning, coach skills, in-game momentum, progressive fatigue, etc.) that are all going to have very significant impacts on how every game plays out. For 21, if someone said "I was playing as Team X vs Team Y and ABC happened" I could get a pretty good feel of things and if it were truly an "issue". For 22, every single time somebody posted a comment like that, it would have to be met with a much larger laundry list of questions and even then, it'll be nearly impossible to suss-out all the nuance.

I'm going to allow all of these new systems in-game to serve as my "sliders". Say you can't run the ball well. Which sounds more 'immersive'?

1. Raising the RBK slider
2. Going into your gameplanning for the week; using a run game-centric gameplan and doing a more intensive training for your o-line (at the risk of injury) to give you a boost?

I don't think anyone here would choose number 1 as being more 'immersive' and that's my point.

Like, if I did a slider thread, every time that someone would make a complaint like that - this would be my response, "Learn how to play the game using the in-game mechanics vs relying on slider adjustments." One can only say that so many times and in so many ways before it becomes annoying.

I'm not saying that sliders don't have value; I'm sure many folks will do whatever it is that they do every year. But the whole point of a true next gen experience is (IMO) being able to just play the game. That's precisely what I plan on doing.
