QB Injuries? Are They Even A Thing?

Do QB's even get hurt in franchise mode? I have 3 QBs on my roster as do all CPU teams and have yet to see a single QB get hurt. It sucks bc there is no point to carrying 3 QBs if you won't even use the 2nd ever. I have progressive fatigue off so don't know if that plays a factor. But injury slider is on 35.

Another thing with injuries are they are never serious. I think the longest in game injury I have seen is 6 weeks. No use in using IR either as I'm pretty sure Madden hasn't updated that and you still lose a player for 8 weeks.

So does anyone know if QBs get hurt in offline franchise? If so, what are your settings?

Yes. Lower all their injury ratings into the 60s. I had 8 QBs out by midseason in one of my franchises doing this, with injury at 50.

I really wish the EA roster folks would edit the injury ratings for positions so it's somewhat realistic in terms of injuries. (espeically QB's)

With 50 INJ and 75 Fatigue I have seen in-game QB injuries 3 times so far. All 3 injuries were only for the rest of the game though.
One of the injuries happened when I stepped up into the pocket and got hit as I threw it. I was shocked.

I would definitely love to see simmed QB injuries, with longer severity.

Oddly enough, I played a game earlier this week and I injured the AI's QB... I forget the injury but he was out for 5 weeks. I was blown away... I couldn't even believe what I was seeing.

But I expect I won't being seeing it again.

I have an injury spreadsheet gambling problem. In week 3 8 13 and 18 I roll out my spreadsheet get my phone on random number generator and feed my gambling addiction. Everyone that is injured that week gets a roll. The chances of them getting edits and the severity is based on how long they are injured for. I absolutely destroy careers as injuries do in the NFL. Then after I make those edits to injury and toughness I apply an extra kicker penalty based on age. After this I random number choose between 1 and 32 to choose a team and then another random to choose starter or second string injury. Then another press of the button for severity of the edit. I edit the chosen QB injury and toughness and then add a kicker for age to toughness and stamina. Doesn't make the QB injured but gives them a higher chance of injury and severity. Pat Mahomes hit a couple of nights ago. I haven't seen him injured yet but during free agency the chiefs signed an 80 something overall backup. Just because your a 25 year old 94 overall qb does not mean your having a 60,000 yard career in my league.

I'm currently doing a Browns quick sim rebuild and Deshaun Watson broke his leg/arm (can't remember which) in week 15 and was out for 17 weeks.

Currently in a Dolphins franchise, and Tua went out with an injury. Ended up being out for 19 weeks with a hip fracture
