It's one thing to demand realistic sim stats, another to tolerate what that looks like in real time on the field.

One of the reason EA has struggled with sim stats over the years....the community at large can send some very mixed signals.

Yeah, DO NOT robo/nerf the QB accuracy unless it's dead set, absolutely necessary. WR drops are a real thing, and folks should appreciate it. TCU basically lost to Colorado because of a handful of blatant drops I could point out with my glasses off.

For the love of God, I sure as hell hope EA doesn't give in and nerf passing OR wr drops.

I switched from placement and accuracy to just plain placement, as if the description is correct relies on your QB ratings, and that is exactly what I'm looking for, and so far I'm more than happy with the results.

I have played enough of 24, as well as watched several Twitch streams and have not ONCE witnessed the QB issues I have seen folks complain about on here when it comes to the user QB acc.

Folks have yelled to the high heavens for YEARS for EA to make this game more of a sim...in 24 it has been the closet so far ...still a LOT of issues need to be addressed, but user QB acc and wr drops are NOT even close to being an issue that needs to be addressed (imo)

BUT...when you have content creators that make their vids and whine and cry about these issues, you can bet at some point EA will make some sort of change...if they don't? I have absolutely no issues "eating crow" so at this point it's a wait and see approach.

Finally, I got to try out the game with the new patch. I was specifically hoping they would get the Incomplete crowd chant in at Empower Field. It has been out of the game for awhile. I can't even remember now how long it's been out. Well, I'm still disappointed that it's missing. Maybe they can get it in. Wishful thinking, though. I do like the gameplay. Defensive Coverage could be better.

I'm not asking for QBs to be buffed or nerfed. Just feel like the amount of entirely inaccurate throws should mostly be determined by stats. A 75 accuracy passer should be missing throws a lot. 85 less so. 95 less than that. Yes QBs will miss throws IRL, but if a QB missed the exact same throw 14 out of 25 times with no coverage or pass rush, either that QB is concussed or is Mitchell Trubisky.


Also, the news section breaking was fixed for season 2... and it breaks again at season 3.

I don't think the majority wants the QB to be "nerfed."

So, far, with Jordan Love rated a 70, I am missing throws because of pressure,

and WR drops or great coverage. In past Maddens, I'd hit 75 to 80% with Love.

And the opponent CPU AI QB would hit the same ranges.

For the first time in quite awhile, that isn't happening in user vs cpu games.

Even a 85 rated passer should have good games and off games in user vs cpu games.

That's the stats I am looking for. 60% and higher completion rates, not 75 to 80%. Those

percentages are for the elite QB's.

Some context:

Just finished an All-Pro franchise game (played the full game, 12 min quarters, sliders at default) with Patrick Mahomes. He's been developed some since his original, so accuracy ratings are all in the high 90s.

He had one of the unpressured, not-on-the-run off-target passes on 38 total attempts.

2nd year Anthony Richardson (CPU-controlled on the other team), with accuracy ratings of 80, 85, and 79, had 5 of them on 42 attempts.

What's the issue again? Clearly I'm not seeing it.

All-Madden, 12 Min Quarters


My QB (95 SH, 94 MID, 89 DEEP) was 20 of 42. Of the 22 missed passes:

3 throw out of sack (my fault)
7 good coverage (Bad throw choice by me)
3 drops (nothing you can do, so fine)
9 "poor accuracy" throws

I'm sorry, there is not a single current NFL QB other than Mitch Trubisky that would badly miss nine throws every single game. Especially with those stats.

AI Will Levis (87/84/81) was 21 of 25, naturally.
