Option against the AI?

I haven't opened this yet as I traded in the ps3 version and have been playing NBA2k. I am a huge Madden fan, but on ps3 it seemed like the fun was running out when all I had to do was run the option against the CPU for easy points. I hear that the AI is fixed, but has anybody attempted to run an option type team against the AI yet to see if it is truly better? I would like to be able to run my type of offense without having to score every single time I touch the ball.

I have a CCM with Seattle and honestly the D reacts better to the option, I've only played 3 games into the regular season and I'd have to say I have ran about 20 option plays in those 3 games and the farthet gain I got with Russell Wilson was 12 yards, while the farthest I got with Lynch was 9, the run defense awareness seems a lot more improved.
