Playing together in connected franchise?

Hey folks,

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered. Has anyone heard if Madden 15 will get back to supporting multiple players in connected franchise?

By that I mean, my friend and I like to create a franchise, and then play the games out together (in the same room, not online). We used to be able to do this, but as of last version, it suddenly became unavailable. When you go to play a game in connected franchise, there just is no option to use a second controller.

Anyway, I haven't been able to find an answer by searching, so if anyone knows, feel free to reply!

Really? Co-op or head to head?

I should have clarified we want to play co-op.

I am wondering if we can do a co-op franchise over online? (like NHL has) I have wanted this feature for years but I guess they don't think the interest is there....
