New Practice Idea

I think it would be cool in the practice mode to have a progressive drive. So you simulate the game and you drive down the field with time on the clock and the play clock. So if you fail on 4th down you go back to your designated starting spot and try it again.

The have this a little bit in the skills trainer when you try to beat, cover 1, cover 2, and so on, but it would be cool to just practice for as long as you want in a simulated situation.

What do y'all think? Worth it?

Re: New Practice Idea

Are you saying you restart that same down and distance scenario if you fail it, or you restart with a new down and distance scenario?

I like the idea of starting a new down and distance scenario each time than having to re-do the same one each time until you pass it.

Although, on the other hand, I guess the idea of having X amount of tries to complete as many scenario as possible has merits as well -- if you're failing the same down-and-distance scenario over and over you (obviously) won't get as much XP by the end of it.

Would love to see an option to practice randomly through different concepts, both offensively and defensively.

What you're saying adds another dynamic to it. My thought you would select where to spot the ball. Say you wanna work from your 20 and practice sustaining drives. Say you're not good in the red zone and you want to work on that area.

But with what you're saying is cool because you could possibly select random scenarios in a setting so to speak, and then the computer just throws you into different starting points with of course different objectives.

I think either have value, regardless. The big thing is continuing to add layers of dynamics to the practice mode and trying to figure out new ways to handle XP in fair and balanced matters at the same time (no easy task in many ways).
