Needed this win in my online CFM with the Colts and this play happened...

I've HATED that "pick the pass off the turf for an INT" animation for as long as it's existed...

Started either with M25 or the year before...

Stopped challenging them, because that doesn't work...

Haven't lost a game or even been pick 6'ed on one or I'd prob "rage quit" and rightfully so, IMHO...

Only thing I had that even remotely comes close is a time I took the lead with 15 seconds on the clock and the previous drive injured the starting QB. Rookie back up comes in, throws an 85 yard TD pass to win the game as time expired.

Back in Madden 12, I had an online game that was lost in the last 2 seconds on an 85 yard hail mary....against Quarters Normal Prevent, with the coverage backed off.

I never played prevent in that game again....zones would only cover to a certain depth.

Another bad loss, for someone else this time. I was in the local tourney trying to win a free copy, it was the semifinals. I'm losing by 2 points with 15 seconds left.

Someone in the crowd shouts out that you still need to play defense because Crosby can hit a 60 yarder. Well he played cover 2 against Smash and lost the game to to a last second field goal....everybody knew I was going to throw that concept to Jennings and he still let it happen.

The next year I lucked out immensely in the same tournament, and this one might go down as the worst way to lose a game.

The guy I'm playing, plays me tight all game long and is driving with under 1 minute left to take the lead (I'm up by 6). I just couldn't stop him, and he moved it all the way to the one yard line...I figure I'm screwed and the game is over. He lines up in goal line and runs Power to the left....Clay Matthews sheds a block, hit sticks the back, and picks up the fumble securing the win. I was saved by the big hit trait.

For me, in Madden 2002 -

In the NFC Championship game playing against a friend in franchise mode, a Hail Mary attempt from Michael Vick completed to Marcus Robinson, but Robinson gets tackled at the 1-yard line as time expires.

That one still hurts.

Yes I can top it lol. The Phantom tackle turned fumble. This was in a divisional playoff gm.

I had already lost the game, but this just poured salt in the wound:

Madden 09, Giants (me) vs. Redskins,

I'm down by 6, throw a pick with like 15 seconds left on a shot down the field. so ball's on line the Redskin 30-yard line. The AI lines up in victory formation, as do I...and proceeds to hand the ball off to the HB, who runs to the outside for a 70-yard TD as time expired...

Needless to say, I showed no mercy the next time I faced the Redskins in that franchise. Something like 5 TDs for Eli and 2 for each of my 3 running backs and I think I got suitable revenge.
