Position movement/depth chart

Why the hell can't we move players around during the year like the off season? I mean whatever but what makes me angry is the limited positions on the depth chart.. I drafted a QB in the 5th round who has 92 speed and I can't set him up at WR because only TE's and WR's can be selected in the depth chart.. In real life you'd definitely have more control..

There is a designated time in the off-season you can change a player's position, never done it myself so I'm afraid I can't give you more specific details.

I know that.. I don't see why we don't have more control over the deph chart.. Example: only QB's and Punters can get listed under QB.. What if I had a wildcat WR? Or a QB turned WR? I couldn't list him under QB..

In the offseason change him to different positions til you get him to the position you want him to be. Some positions can only be changed to other certain positions directly but you can change one position to another and then that position to the one you want him to ultimately be. You just have to mess around with it.

Re: Position movement/depth chart

They should have two systems, one for online players where it locks in players for the year so you can't cheese, and they should develop something much more robust for offline CFM that has far fewer restrictions since you don't have to worry about cheesing.

To get more sim, they really need to rethink depth charts and positional designations for offline players. They already have the rigid, outdated setup for online play, so it's not like they need to develop anything new there. They just need to develop something more realistic for offline.

for wildcat i totally agree formation subs is the way to go even online, position changes should be at any time during the off season post FA, ie you cant change your franchise qb to a P resign and then change back
