Change Team from 4-3 to 3-4

Does anyone know how to change this correctly?

The Bears run a 3-4 Defense.

They play a 3-4 defense in the game, but for some reason everytime they show who my starters are, they revert back to the 4-3 positions.

I tried to change this in Coaching Schemes, but it still states my defense as a 4-3.

Kinda confused as to what you meant, but if you want to fully convert to a 4-3, you have to change some of your MLBs (you should have 4 at least, since 3-4 is 2 MLBs) to OLBs if you have enough, or just sign some, your OLBS to DEs, and your DEs to DTs (keep NT as DT or trade/release him if you want) during the off season just before the new season. Then you'd want to change your scheme obviously, then you have to change your defensive playbook to a 4-3 to defense.

Again, I'm not really sure what you meant by your post, but if you follow those steps it SHOULD work.

It's a glitch. No way around it.

Yeah last year the Bills went back from Mike Pettine's 3-4 to Jim Schwartz' 4-3 but the team still announced them as a 3-4 defense.

And then this year they went back to Rex Ryan's 3-4 but the depth chart still treats them like a 4-3 team.

This is so annoying. They announce them as a 3-4 but their roster is set as a 4-3 and their default playbook is a 3-4. So you have to make changes to their roster or playbook, and if you choose a 4-3 (my preferred madden defense) they announce your starters as a 3-4. Additionally with the new depth chart in CFM it shows your depth chart as a 3-4 regardless of scheme because Rex is a "3-4" coach

I switched the Eagles from 3-4 to 4-3 and it works for me, the depth chart is represented correctly.

The Bills in this game are a Hybrid defense, which encompasses both 3-4 and 4-3 defenses. The Patriots are also a Hybrid defense and have both 3-4 and 4-3 plays in their playbook. The Ravens are shown as a Hybrid defense but I don't recall seeing any 4-3 plays in their playbook.
