2015 Team Plays Per Game

The average team plays per game this year is 64.

What is the best way to achieve this in Madden using Quarter length and accelerated clock?

10-12 minutes and 25 second accelerated clock IMO. But the true variable is how quickly you snap the ball at the line. And pass the ball

I do 15 minute quarters with play clock runoff to 15 seconds. There's a number of different combinations that'll work, (see above post) it just depends on your personal preference too.

15/15 is where it's at.

JoshC and a few more of us have recently gone w/ 9min qtrs, Acc clock: off.(this seems to be the way the game was made to play on by EA)
It allows for fatigue to progress more realistically throughout, you'll also notice time of day changes throughout the game, the lighting from the sun changes are even more noticeable in the late afternoon games.
Also jersey degradation.

If you call your plays and snap the ball at the same pace as the cpu, every 8-10 secs you'll see apx 60-65 plays per side. But acc clock off is a nice addition for those that don't know.

I just tried this and got great results. Accurate number of plays, and good substitutions on default fatigue. Gurley had 21 carries, Mason had 7 or 8.
