Ageing Wr in cfm

i have vincent jackson and brandon marshall who are 33 and 34 respectively as my best wr in a league i just joined. they are 94 and 96 over all with 95 plus in all receiving stats, how ever they have $^%# for speed both at 77 witht 81 acc. are they still viable? in last year madden i would cut them instantly like im thinking abt doing now. havent played a game with them so im curious to if i should cut or can these dinossaurs give me a run and how much speed matter on these taller guys.

I'd keep one and cut the other. Regardless of speed, 90+ catching is valuable to have on the field, especially depending on sliders.

its stock on all madden. so with there speed its hard to believe they will get much seperation so what type of plays would you run for these?

Use them primarily as red zone threats, short routes. Maybe even fade routes in the end zone, depending on their height vs the defender, you can float a pass their way.

Re: Ageing Wr in cfm

I would keep them both as WR 3/4 options.

Slants across the middle will work for them. Receivers like that are actually very useful against a defense who plays a lot of zone. Probably won't help you much against man to man because they won't get separation.

Personally, I'd lob it if it's on the outside. But you risk throwing the ball far out of bounds, so I don't use the modifier button for higher throws here (L1 on ps4). When it's up the middle I throw a high bullet, typically to my TE since he's tall and great at catching.
