Got a new 55inch 4k tv love but for some reason madden wants to display with a quarter inch black bars boarder would love to be able to have it fit whole screen like most games

I dont know about within the game but within your console there is.

Not sure, but I wonder if you'll have to wait for the new XBOX Scorpio or PS4 Nano that are being released soon? They're supposed to work great with the 4k technology. The good news is you don't have to buy new games. You'll be able to play your current genre games including Madden 17 on them.

Sounds like you have a PS4.. There's a setting in the console menu that changes that

Specificially, on PS4 go to Settings>Sound and Screen>Display Area Settings. Make sure the corners are lined up, then restart your system.

Maybe you've done this already though. Madden doesn't have an in-game screen size adjustment.
