Necessary to Create Opposing Coach in CFM This Year?

Last year, it was the consensus that you had to create your opposing coach in CFM and then retire him after the game so that the drive goals didn't give silly boosts to ratings. Is that still necessary?

Well, I am like 7 seasons in now and my highest confidence player is around 67 confidence. So my answer is no, drive goals don't have very much affect on players.

No, they adjusted drive goals and their rewards big time.

I'm not bothering with that this year. I'm just letting drive goals happen for me and the CPU. (though I ignore them when the goals are counterintuitive)

Some people are however creating a coach each week to give CPU teams custom playbooks, which make the CPU have better play calling abilities.
