Position changes

Wanted to start a discussion around possible realistic position changes. Two on the Raiders I'm considering are FB Reece to TE and RB Taiwan Jones back to DB where he once played.

What other position changes are you guys thinking about?

Re: Position changes

I'm going with the Raiders for my first franchise mode as well.

Considering moving Aldon Smith to DE.

Makes sense - a lot of DE/OLB changes could / would make sense. I think the Raiders need help at linebacker and nickelback and they could be serious contenders. I have a few realistic trades I'm thinking about too to help.

Re: Position changes

It might be a fun idea to take Terelle Pryor or Braxton Miller and turn them back into a QB.

Same, also Nick Marshall, I changed him back to qb for a franchise in 16 and he was electric but good lord he was constantly injured. Would like to try it in 17 though. Also might mess around with a guy like George farmer at WR or RB, got moved to CB in the NFL but was only like a 40 ovr CB in 16, he's like 6'2-6'3 220 and has speed

Re: Position changes

I'm doing a Titans CFM and thinking about getting Taylor Mays and making him a situational LB. He's a free agent and saw someone show them but I can't remember his ratings. Hopefully I can help turn his career around ala Mark Barron.

funny that u mention that, in my offline CFM on ea trial the raiders switched taiwan jones to a CB and end up cutting him. i thought it was pretty cool that the cpu decided to make that change tho

Re: Position changes

-Knile Davis and Trent Richardson always convert well to a speedy FB
-Danny Vitale converts well to a speedy FB
-Eddie Lacy converts well to a beast FB
-big WRs like Kelvin Benjamin, Mike Evans, Devin Funchess, Brandon Coleman, and DGB all make decent TEs
-Stephon Tuitt, Leonard Williams, Giorgio Newberry, and Robert Nkemdiche all make excellent 4-3 DTs (or 3-4 DEs)
-Stephen Paea, Ra'shede Hageman, and T.J. Barnes all make solid DTs, as well
-Emmanuel Ogbah, Jadeveon Clowney, Vic Beasley, Khalil Mack, Bud Dupree, Shane Ray, Shaq Lawson, Matt Judon, Eli Harold, Aldon Smith, and Brian Orakpo all make awesome DEs
-Courtney Upshaw makes a good DE or LB
-Shaq Thompson, Anthony Barr, Mychal Kendricks, Ryan Shazier, Mark Barron, Deone Buchanon, and Telvin Smith all make sick safeties
-Jaylen Ramsey, D.J. Hayden, and Dee Milliner make good safeties, as well
-Travis Feeney and Kamu Grugier-Hill make decent safeties.
-Byron Smith, Tyrann Mathieu, and DeAngelo Hall make good CBs
