Some Madden NFL 18 Control Changes

This is a really good move. Never understood why they put it on a face button. Hopefully with him also saying that there has to be an interaction for a tackle and no more suction tackles that the A button tackle is also gone because that seemed like nothing more than suction mechanism. As much as I'd love to see the hit stick gone, as long as it's harder to achieve and greatly penalizes smaller guys and players who aren't big hitters it can still have its place.

Wonder if they will assign another mechanic to the button. I've also heard the hit stick can now be used to take on blockers when playing LB, so you don't have to hit and shed all the time anymore

APF 2k8 hit stick was similar with high/low tackles, it's a good move and to get rid of suction tackles

Some of the control changes seem like it is built towards season madden players. The WR/DB controls seem tough but very rewarding once mastered. I can't wait for this game.
